This Privacy Policy describes how Beijing Kuaifa Technology Co., Ltd. ("Bexli," "we," "us") handles information in connection with the Bexli mobile application and any related features (the "App"). Please read it together with our Terms of Use.
This Privacy Policy applies to the App. It does not apply to any third-party websites, products, or services that we do not operate, even if they are linked from the App or integrated to provide AI generation. Those third parties have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
When you use the App, the text prompt you type, together with style selections, template choices, aspect ratio, and similar generation parameters (collectively, "Generation Inputs"), are transmitted to our third-party AI image generation service so that it can produce a result. We do not require you to include personal information in your prompt; we recommend that you do not include sensitive information about yourself or anyone else.
Bexli lets you take a photo with your device camera, or otherwise provide an image, so that the App can enhance, stylize, or transform it using AI. When you do this, the photo you provide (an "Input Image") is transmitted to our third-party AI image generation service for the sole purpose of producing the enhanced or stylized result, which is returned to your device.
An Input Image is processed as an ordinary picture. We do not analyze it to identify who is in it, do not extract facial features or biometric identifiers, and do not retain Input Images on our own servers beyond what is technically necessary to deliver a result during your session. You control whether to provide a photo; the camera is used only when you actively choose to take a picture inside the App.
Bexli does not collect, process, or store "face data" or any biometric information. The App does not perform face detection, face recognition, face tracking, facial landmark or geometry analysis, or any form of biometric identification or verification. Photos you provide are treated only as ordinary images for AI enhancement, even if a person appears in them. The App does not use Face ID for authentication and does not request the Face ID permission.
The AI image service returns one or more generated images ("Generated Images") to your device for display in the App. We do not retain Generated Images on our own servers beyond what is technically necessary to deliver them to your device.
If you choose to save a Generated Image, the App requests the system permission needed to add an image to your device's photo library. You can grant, deny, or change this permission at any time in your device's Settings. If you deny it, you will not be able to save Generated Images directly to your library, but you can still generate and view them within the App.
To keep the App reliable, we process limited technical and diagnostic information such as device model, operating system version, App version, language and region settings, crash logs, performance metrics, and similar diagnostic records. This information is used to monitor stability, fix bugs, and improve security. It does not include the content of your prompts or your photos.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment details under Apple's privacy policy; we do not receive or store your credit card or full payment information. We may receive limited transaction information from Apple (for example, anonymous purchase confirmations) so that we can grant access to Premium Features.
When you contact us — for example, through the in-app support form or by emailing us — we receive the name and email address you provide, the contents of your message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to you and maintain a record of support correspondence.
The App does not collect face data or biometric identifiers, and does not access your contacts, microphone, precise location, calendar, or health data. The App does not contain advertising or third-party advertising SDKs and does not access the advertising identifier (IDFA). We do not build behavioral profiles about you.
To deliver the App's core feature, the following flow occurs each time you create an image:
Google processes your Generation Inputs and any Input Image in order to deliver the requested Generated Image. According to Google's published Gemini API Abuse Monitoring Policy, prompts, contextual information, and outputs sent to the Gemini API are retained by Google for up to fifty-five (55) days for the purposes of detecting and preventing policy violations and maintaining the safety and security of the Gemini service. According to Google's policy, this data is not used to train or fine-tune Google's general-purpose AI models, and access for human review is limited to authorized Google personnel under Google's internal review processes.
Google's handling of data sent to the Gemini API is governed by Google's own privacy policy and terms:
We do not use your prompts, Input Images, or Generated Images for any purpose other than delivering the requested generation, providing support, and operating the App as described in this Privacy Policy. We do not sell them, do not use them for advertising, and do not use them to train AI models.
We process the information described above for these purposes:
We share information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
| Provider | Purpose | Data Shared | Retention | Location | Reference |
| Google LLC | Google Gemini API — AI image generation and enhancement that converts your prompt, style selections, or provided photo into a generated image | Text prompt, generation parameters, any photo you provide for enhancement, and the generated image returned during the session | Up to 55 days for safety and abuse-monitoring, per Google's Gemini API Abuse Monitoring Policy; not used to train Google's AI models | United States | Google Privacy Policy Gemini API Abuse Monitoring Policy |
| Apple Inc. | App distribution, in-app purchases, payment processing, push notifications, and operating-system services | Transaction data through Apple's In-App Purchase system; device identifiers managed by iOS | Governed by Apple's policies | United States | Apple Privacy Policy |
If we add or replace a service provider, we will update this table.
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required to: (a) comply with applicable law, legal process, or a binding request from a public authority; (b) enforce our Terms of Use; (c) investigate, prevent, or address suspected fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our policies or the AI service provider's policies; or (d) protect the rights, property, or safety of Bexli, our users, or others.
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred to the relevant counterparty, subject to the protections of this Privacy Policy or a successor policy that you will be notified about.
We are based in the People's Republic of China, and the AI service we use processes data in the United States and potentially other countries. Where your information is transferred outside your jurisdiction, we and our service providers rely on appropriate legal mechanisms to protect that information, including contractual safeguards and technical measures such as encryption in transit.
Because the App does not require an account, we generally do not maintain records that identify you personally outside of any support correspondence you initiate. Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
To exercise these rights or ask a privacy-related question, email us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to (a) know what categories of personal information we have collected about you; (b) access specific pieces of personal information we maintain about you, where verifiable; (c) request correction of inaccurate personal information; and (d) request deletion of personal information collected from you. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To submit a verifiable request, email us at [email protected] with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing are: (a) performance of a contract — to provide the App and respond to your support requests; (b) legitimate interests — to maintain App security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability, balanced against your rights; and (c) legal obligation — to comply with applicable law. You may exercise the rights afforded under the GDPR or UK GDPR by contacting us at [email protected].
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Communications between the App and our service providers are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is not directed to children. We treat individuals under 13 as children, and under 16 where local law applies a higher threshold. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete that information as soon as reasonably possible.
The Google Gemini API applies content safety policies designed to refuse generation of unlawful or unsafe content, including sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, content that incites violence, and similar categories prohibited by Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy. These filters operate at the model level and are not perfect; outputs may occasionally be unexpected. If you encounter a Generated Image you believe is inappropriate, please report it to [email protected], and we will review and take appropriate action, including reporting to Google where applicable.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice through the App or by another appropriate method as required by law. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of an update indicates your acknowledgment of the updated policy, unless separate consent is required.
